Krishnan Srinivasan, PMP, BSc (Econs) Hons, MBA, ACMA, CA (M)

Krishnan is currently President of the Project Management Institute, Malaysia Chapter(PMIMY). He has been involved with the Project Management Institute since 2011 and became a Chapter Leader in 2013. He holds a BSc in Accounting & Financial Management from the University of Buckingham and a MBA from the University of Edinburgh. He is a Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) qualified Chartered Management Accountant (ACMA) and a Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA) Chartered Accountant (CA(M)). He is also a certified PMI PMP(Project Management Professional).

Krishnan began his career in Audit, moving across into Finance before Business Development and Operations. His experience straddles several industries including Leasing, Quarrying, Premix, Oil & Gas Exploration, Waste Management, Education, Self Service and IT. Krishnan has more than 35 years of experience serving companies such Ernst & Young, Sunway, Raytheon, Schlumberger, Vivendi, The Chartered Institute of Management Accountants, NCR and Dell. He has held increasingly responsible roles that have evolved from Country based to Regional and Global roles in Asia and Europe. He is currently self-employed and uses his entrepreneurial spirit and experience to make a difference to individuals, organisations and society where he has an opportunity to serve. Krishnan has served on HELP University, ELM Graduate School of Management, Industry Advisory Board since 2016. He was appointed as its Chair in 2018.  Krishnan is passionate about Project Management and Management Accounting being applied universally in Business to drive more successful business outcomes and business success.

Amongst his many achievements, he ranks highly, the more than doubling in membership of the Project Management Institute, Malaysia Chapter. In a little more than 2 years the Chapter doubled its size. The Chapter has experienced consecutive double digit growth over the last since 2015.
