Today as Chief Digital Officer, Marcus is leading the expansion of McCann health’s world-class digital offering across their global network with a special focus on digital innovation and data & analytics. Marcus play a pivotal role in further enhancing McCann’s existing digital capabilities for clients and is also a member of the McCann Worldgroup global digital leadership community.

Being a proponent of a new, wider ecosystem around health and wellness, Marcus works closely with Pharma, Telco’s, Technology companies, VC’s and other specialists to develop innovative new models and platforms. Offering a unique perspective and expertise, he often works directly with clients to drive business innovation and digital engagement across the globe.

Originally working both agency and client-side with strategy and trends, Marcus moved to McCann health in 2011 to lead digital and innovation for Asia Pacific and was promoted Global Chief Digital Officer in 2018.

He has numerous creative and innovation awards and is a frequent speaker at industry forums, conferences and different media outlets including MM&M and Contagious magazine. In addition to communicating digitally, he is fluent in Swedish, English as well as conversational in Spanish and Mandarin.
